I can feel your pain Beth what a beautiful visual symbol of your grief. "The darker the night, the brighter the stars, The deeper the grief, the closer is God!” ~ Fyodor Dostoyevsky May God bless and comfort you my friend.
This picture reminds me of those brave (desperate? foolhardy? enterprising?) young women who struck out from hard times in industrialized towns in Britain or the eastern shores of N.America to find their fortunes (usually in the shape of a husband or a whore house) in the wild west. I'm sure lots of tears were involved. But I also love how the words you chose to underline the image tell a very definite tale of love and loss and hope.
This and also your other arts are so fantastic gorgeous! I adore your works :)
ReplyDeleteYou miss Moses dear Beth...
ReplyDeleteSo sorry... I think of you.
Your art is as somptuous as ever, and your colorization is absolutely gorgeous.
I am so much taken with your journey here. I feel for your sorrow and rejoice for your remembrance.
