this is terrific--I love the dim and cloudy reflections
Beth - This is a breathtaking piece. I love the wonderful bacgkround and the reflection effect. As an Australian it reminds me of our "boat people", displaced refugees who board leaky boats in Indonesia to try to reach the Australian mainland. Many don't make it. Many are kept in detention centres in remote parts, including camps in third world countries.I browse through your blog is such a treat. I love ALL your work. Magnificent.
Great great great Beth! You're an unique and talented artist!(I wish to tell you something, a --french-- friend of mine said to me about your blog that she would like to understand the quotes under your wonderful artwork...Because she understood that your image and quote are intimately related. What about installing a translator for all those who don't understand english?)
Your art is always so thoughtful and thought-provoking, Beth. Love this trip to the past.xx
